Watching the tele last night and had a good chuckle. Check out this silly, cute commercial about Pedigree's Dentastix.
I'm not promoting this product...we've never even tried it. Catch the ending canine personality? None other than a Corgi-dog! How befitting because if any breed would have something to say and come right to the point about it, it would be a Corgi!
What better way to catch your attention than to watch an adorable canine/dog actor flaunt his acting talents in a commercial. It keeps you interested the whole way through wondering what has this squeezable dog so worried and tormented and what the commercial is really about. Days after catching the commercial on TV, I didn't need any reminders as to what company it was advertising - just because of the great directing, actor and a very befitting song titled "Trouble", by Ray LaMontagne. Effective marketing at its best!
From the date on the YouTube info it looks like it was released in June 2009 - guess I haven't been watching much TV?
A description of the video:
In this spot from Travelers, featuring music by Ray LaMontagne, we follow along as a worried dog searches for, and ultimately finds, the smartest way to protect his most prized possession.
My bad...I should've blogged about this earlier. There's a really cute blog called Corgi Butts authored by Kelly who adopted an adorable Pembroke Corgi puppy named Gibson. It's a great read and some fantastic artwork (check out Corgi Butts on cafepress) by the authoress that will just leave you smiling after each visit!
So what was my bad? Corgi Butts is running a fun Corgi Calendar 2010 contest with all proceeds donated to the Lakeshore Corgi Rescue. The Lakeshore Corgi Resuce services a large area, but primarily works to support purebred corgis in the Michigan, Indiana, Illinois, Wisconsin and the Minnesota areas.
Submit your favorite photos of your Corgi if you have a blog by this evening! For more information - click on over to Corgi Butts!
Four months ago the gray wolves were conveniently and maliciously removed from the endangered species list by a federal judge. How much and what sort of gifts is judge, Donald Molloy of the Federal District Court for Montana enjoying for allowing this travesty? Please read the articles and related developments for yourselves.
More than 20 percent of the estimated 1,350 wolves are being allowed to be killed --- claiming that this will not cause long-term harm to the species. How do they plan to regulate this when over 14,000 permits were issued in Idaho alone?
Where, when and how do these types of massacres end?
I've always taken great pride in the things I've taught my Dockers when he was a wee pup. For lack of creativity on my part, I couldn't come up with other things that I deemed useful, at the time, to teach him. Also, I'm ashamed to admit that I didn't teach Nikita and Cody some of the things Dockers can show-off. If you want a big smile to creep upon your face, take a peek at Lance - this adorable, smart corgi and very patient parent. Enjoy!
Wow! What inspiration. Looks like I have some work to do!
